Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. She's the daughter Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents in the world of entertainment at a young age. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent prior to her turning thirteen, and she got her first role in newspaper advertisements and television commercials. Also, Bell began taking private acting classes. Bell had a minor role that was not credited to her in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, which was where she participated in drama and music club. Bell was chosen to play the lead role of Dorothy in her high school's play The Wizard of Oz. After graduating, Bell moved into New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in which she was a musical theater student. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 to take on the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. The same year, she had her first credit debut with Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and her character was not shown in the credit sequence. Bell was part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
