Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country pop music and songwriting gained prominence on TV when she became Alex during the final three seasons on One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer's first country releases were featured in the episodes of One Tree Hill which helped propel her debut album in 2012 to in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. Her decade culminated by appearances in Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up within Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to the country genre, and eventually went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. But, she first made an acting debut when she was young teenager in 2002's independent horror movie Dead/Undead. Gaston spots on TV shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she landed the recurring part as Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights during the show's second season from 2007 to 2008. Kramer was cast in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before joining the cast of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she continued to appear until the final season of the show in the year 2012. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer has signed a record deal to Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary country love song I Won't Stop on a 2011 episode in One Tree Hill. The track was later featured on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in the middle of 2012. The track was featured in Billboard's Top Country Albums chart within the Top Five. Following a shift to her professional career in music, Kramer was still acting, and she appeared in films like Heart of the Country 2013 (which was a hit with her fans) as well as Country Crush 2016 (which would be a hit with her music lovers). Kramer's second album, Thirty One, was released by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. The album was helped by her Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at third place on the Billboard 200 country charts and number 10 in the Billboard 200. Beginning in September of 2016 she stayed for two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth-place finish. In the same year, she had an adult-oriented hit song featuring"Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
