Robyn Rihanna, better popularly known as Rihanna in Barbados is a Barbadian artist and performer who has provided us with hits songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. A very successful artist still in the prime of her young age, she's sold more than 41 million albums and 150 million tracks worldwide becoming one of the most successful artists ever. Barbados-born, she learned to appreciate reggae music and began singing when she was a young child. Unhappy with their chaotic home life as well as endless arguments with her parents she immersed herself in music and eventually realized that she wanted to be a professional singer. The group she formed was a musical one as a teenager and got an opportunity to an audition with music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly impressed by the teenager's talents. Rihanna was then moved from the city of her birth to New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Her debut album quickly went viral and she was hailed as a music sensation. Rihanna was loved by the youth for her peppy, foot-tapping music. The result was Rihanna becoming a director. A talented young woman Rihanna has been recognized as an aspiring teenage star. Rihanna uses her fame to positive use as she is actively taking part in various charities.
